1. Description

 
     ZTA-RA anti-rutting additive was developed to prevent rutting of Asphalt. It is an additive to the asphalt mixture and it consists of several polymeric materials & multifunctional auxiliary agents. Combined with the asphalt mixture, ARA dramatically improves the bonding strength between the aggregates. ZTA-RA also demonstrates excellent flow resistance at a high-temperature range.

 

    Aphalt Pavement Rut Prevention Anti-rutting Additive for Asphalt Mixture Modification​​​ is added to the asphalt mixture of the pavement, and is mainly used in the middle and lower layers of the road pavement (in the pavement structure, the middle layer has the greatest degree of rutting deformation, which is due to the high temperature of the middle layer and the It can also be used on the surface of the pavement because of the largest shear stress. It can significantly increase the modulus of the asphalt mixture, thereby improving the rutting resistance, high temperature deformation resistance and fatigue resistance of the asphalt mixture pavement. 3. Advantages

A. Modified asphalt effect: during the wet mixing and transportation process, the anti-rutting additive is partially dissolved or swelled in the asphalt to form a cementation effect, so as to achieve asphalt modification effects such as increasing the softening point temperature, increasing the viscosity, and reducing the heat sensitivity, so as to make the asphalt mixture Improved pavement resistance to penetration and water damage.


B. Aggregate viscosity-increasing effect: the anti-rutting additive is first dry mixed with the aggregate, and partly melted on the surface of the aggregate to form a film, which improves the adhesion of the aggregate, which is equivalent to pre-modifying the aggregate.


C.Fiber reinforcement: the microcrystalline area formed by the polymer has considerable stiffness, which is partially drawn into plastic fibers during the mixing process, and bridges and crosslinks in the aggregate skeleton to form fiber reinforcement.

D.Deformation recovery effect: the elastic component of the anti-rutting additive has the function of elastically recovering the deformed part of the pavement at higher temperatures, thus reducing the deformation of the formed asphalt pavement.
